Hi guys,
Yesterday we worked on some “Word Webs”. Your job was to choose any word and find similar words that meant the same thing. We used a thesaurus which was a great tool that helped us. These similar words are called SYNONYMS.
Now that we have started to write our stories, we could use these “Word Webs” to improve our writing and make it more interesting and exciting!

I learned that SYNONYMS are the same meaning but different spelling
Use synonymns make story not boring with same word all the time. Sometime words with same meaning is not exactly the same. Like cat and kitty. Use “kitty” make you think of a cute little fluffy cat. But a cat can be anything.
now i know that synonyms are the same(2 S’s) and antonyms are opisites.
synonyms are the same meaning. Antonyms are opistits.
Synonym is the word that have the same meaning but antonym is the word that opposite.

I learn that cat and dog can’t be antonym because there no such thing as uncat and undog
I learn that antonym is opposite and synonym is relation or similar.
